Transforming the society consistently in the area of one of the most forgotten issue which is the status of girl child in India and this issue has been constructively taken up by Rashmi Mehta through their initiative of their campaign for 'Save and Empower girl child'. This has also been well acknowledged and supported by both professional from medical and top celebrities of the country. It was first organized in 2012 and has been considerably growing in educating and spreading the awareness for it. The event had discussion panels that is inclusive of Dr. Kiran Coelho, Chairperson of the organizing committee with Dr Hrishikesh Pai, Shaina N.C. Advocate Mrinalini Deshmukh, Dr Indu Shahani, Dr Rupa Shah, Nagesh Kukunoor and Gul Panag. Apart from it there were also stars such as Kajol, Leander Paes, Manish Malhotra, Sushmita Sen, Madhuri Dixit, Preity Zinta, Malaika Arora Khan, Isha Kopikar, Evelyn Sharma and Mandira Bedi.
They contributed in offering their

the social service wing of the hospital- SEWA that works to offer their
services that are in the form of free OPD, Nana –Nani, Mobile Clinic and Roshni
Eye Bank is also present.
